    I have made crock sauerkraut before. I was shocked by how rapidly this simple system cranks out perfect, delicious kraut (or kimchi or whatever you like). I found the lids a bit difficult to get off if I put them on too tight. But I can't beat the performance. When I first looked at the kit, I thought seems like a lot of money for such a simple product. But it works so well I quickly changed to "So Worth Every Penny".

    I would have given this 5 stars but for one thing that I think could be improved. The information given about what to expect to see with the fermentation lock is very sparse. I would like to see more information that includes what you may see happen, what to do if the brine pushes it way into the lock, is it okay to see air bubbles, etc. Otherwise, I believe this is an ingenious gadget and would recommend it to my friends, family, and clients.

    I recently purchased my second kit, so I can have more and different pickles going at once. Everything I've made has come out great. These picklers are changing the way I eat, and helping me to even change the role that food has in my life. The DVD is great, the kits themselves are great, the recipes are great, customer service is great--I am very happy, overall and in the details, with everything. Along with my second order they even threw in a free gift of one of their veggie cutters (THANK YOU!).
