    I used these with the white plastic canning lids found in store & they worked GREAT! I am ordering more to store my fermented veggie jars.

    I tried using the "red" gaskets in the store but they leaked and would not stay in the plastic caps. These don't leak and since they are slightly larger, they don't fall out of the lids

    I love the Perfect Pickler. It makes fermenting food so easy and clean. No more mold or slime and I can make large or small amounts. It is great!

    Although the large gasket leaked when the jar was tipped slightly, it certainly makes sense to seal the air out while the kraut steeps. The leakage might have been my fault. It is nice to know I can replace these items for a reasonable price, though. Thanks.

    Not sure why it is impossible to use a pickling lid without the gasket. I lost 2 jars because I did not have this gasket. Well worth the money and savings in lost food!
